I can't thank you enough! Dr. ElYussif and the entire staff are PRIME examples of what health care professionals should be.
My journey started five (or so) years ago. At 62 I was told I was too young for a knee replacement, I was given an off-loader brace and a script to get my shoes modified and pretty much sent on my way. Other health issues were alluded to that could be causing my knee pain.
My knee continued getting worse -- I was bent over to the right. I could no longer do the things I loved -- tennis, pickleball, cycling. I couldn't even walk unassisted.
Dr. ElYussif tells me the only thing that can help is total knee replacement surgery. It'd improve my balance, straighten my leg out (from the knee down my leg was slowly protruding further and further outwards), and the brace and modified shoes would become a thing of the past.
I was nothing shy of an emotional wreck. He and everyone that works there were compassionate, understanding and not condescending in any way, shape or form. They took their time answering questions. They never made me feel rushed.
I was actually told by a friend that she hoped this guy (meaning Dr. ElYussif) was not suffering from a God complex and he could do what he said.
Fast forward to August 10, 2026 when I bite the bullet and have the surgery.
Dr. ElYussif I can't thank you enough! I saw Andrew (doctor's PA) today -- 17 days after surgery. I am well on the road to recovery ALREADY! I use a cane only for a sense of security with balance. There's no need to return for another check up until November 17.
I am walking on Cloud Nine.
My purpose in writing this, is to not only give credit where credit is due, but to hopefully to ease other's apprehension about leaving their knee care in virtually a total stranger's care.
I could go on and on about this Office Practice. I could also offer even more than my two cents about other sub-standard Office Practices.
Trust your intuition. If something doesn't seem right, maybe it's not. Get a second opinion. Get a third opinion. Don't quit seeking for the right care team until you're comfortable.
You do not have to accept anything shy of being treated with knowledge, compassion, empathy, dignity, respect and everything else that is good.
Remember a doctor needs you more than you need him.
I only know names of a few, Dr. ElYussif, Andrew and Candace, but KUDOS goes to the entire office staff. Keep up the good work. Thank you for your encouragement and "hand holding".
I'll soon be back doing the things I love doing.

M R is & feeling blessed at Elyussif Orthopedic & Knee Pain Center.
So relieved I didn't just go with first opinion, l'd be having ACl and meniscus surgery in a few days if I had just listened to first Doc and down for A year at least unnecessary surgery when l'm not a Athlete no reason for this kind of surgery especially when there's other options. This Dr.Eddie-Yussif, made me feel So comfortable and showed care and concern with My daily life and working. He wasn't just quick to set surgery without thinking about living and finances.
Thank GOD I was blessed with this Doctor.

I am a 69 y/o woman who lost 82 pounds walking 8 years ago. Over time my knee began to deteriorate badly and I could no longer take my beloved walks! After a 4-5 year delay, partly caused by Covid and some very poor advice,I finally got up the courage to pursue knee replacement surgery again. My PCP recommended Dr. El-Yussif as did my PT. I am so glad I scheduled an appointment with him! He assessed my need, listened to my whole story and recommended the total knee. I can’t even begin to say how happy I am with the result!!! No problems at all and I am so happy with my result! I have recommended Dr. El-Yussif to many of my friends! Thank you so much for making such a positive change in my physical health!!!

Dr El-Yussif has been my doctor for approximately 2 years,, I’m getting injections in my knee , which is helping a great deal. I highly recommend him as a doctor, he takes time to talk to you and make you feel comfortable. I would give him 5 stars out of 5.
